Limboland is the first BETTY CD that included Tony Salvatore's virtuoso guitar work. This record, produced by BETTY, has been very successful for the band. In addition to being nominated for various prizes, many of the songs on this album have been used for other projects. "A Typical Love" was used on the soundtrack of "The Incredible True Adventure of Two Girls in Love", "Flick That Thing" was the theme song for HBO's "Real Sex" and "Brave Old World" was used for the Candlelight Vigil at the Capitol when the AIDS Quilt was displayed on the Mall in Washington D.C. Elizabeth designed the album art with James and Paul from Cubby Bear Design. The cover photo is by Cherry Kim, who shot a BETTY portrait for Ms. Magazine. This album was picked up by the label, Intersound, for distribution. All was going well until Intersound decided to become a Christian label. Guest Artists: Tony Salvatore (guitars), Dave Lisles (drums on "Metro") and Hook Herrera (harmonica on "Metro").
